Kaiyen Logo

Intro
I designed a flexible identity system for Kaiyen, a London-based creative company that merges vintage fashion retail with culture-led podcasting and conversations with emerging creatives. The aim was to create a logo system that could sit across multiple outputs while remaining adaptable enough to support the brand’s future expansion into wider creative directions. The identity is rooted in the founders’ Lithuanian and Congolese heritage, drawing from symbolic references of a stork and a leopard to represent their respective cultural backgrounds. These forms were developed into a dual-mark system that reflects contrast, collaboration, and shared authorship at the core of the brand. The final outcome balances editorial restraint with expressive symbolism, creating a versatile mark that can scale across product, digital, and editorial applications. Kaiyen is positioned as an evolving platform within the same cultural landscape as Sondr and Nova. Where fashion, storytelling, and community-driven media intersect.
